What does “Because We Care” mean to you?
“Because We Care” is more than a motto — it’s the foundation of how I run this practice. It’s the reason I come to work each day and the reason I love our office, our patients, and our team. At High Street Dental, we care deeply about every patient who walks through our doors, we care about supporting one another as a team, we care about providing the highest quality dentistry, and we care about giving back to our community.
What’s your favorite way to unwind after work?
I love to unwind with my family. At the end of the day, I come home to my husband, Ilya, our two children, Misha and Tillie, and our cavapoo, Luna. We live in Boston’s South End, where we enjoy taking walks and exploring everything the city has to offer. On weekends, we often visit our families. I’m the oldest of four, and my parents live in Rhode Island — close enough for us to spend time together and enjoy the beach whenever we can.
Favorite local restaurant or spot in the South Shore?
Duxbury Beach will always be special to me since that’s where I got engaged. I also love dining at Tosca in Hingham. And I’m always open to new recommendations — I love discovering great places to eat!
Favorite dental fact?
Your smile is the most recognizable feature on your face — people notice it before your eyes or hair.
Anything else you would like to add about you?
Not so much about me, but about my philosophy at High Street Dental. We are a true family practice, and to me that means taking the time to get to know you and building lasting relationships. I want to be a friendly, familiar face in a place that might not always be your favorite. My goal is to be available, approachable, and to make every visit as comfortable as possible. What’s one fun fact about you that might surprise patients?
I have a twin sister who is also a hygienist.

I’m not picky as long as I am with a great group of people.
Favorite dental fact?
Cavities are contagious. The bacteria that causes them can be passed from one person to another. So make sure you do a good 2 minutes of brushing and flossing every night!
Anything else you would like to add about you?
On my free time, I enjoy baking, painting, gardening, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.

Our motto, ‘Because We Care’ reflects our dedication to not only providing top-notch dental care but also ensuring our patients feel valued, comfortable, and understood. It means we go beyond just cleaning teeth—we take the time to educate, listen, and tailor our approach to each patient’s needs, fostering trust and long-term oral health.
What’s one fun fact about you that might surprise patients?
I organized the first oral cancer walk in the US started by a dental hygienist. This blossomed into a national movement of local walks organized by dental hygienists.

Your teeth are as unique as your fingerprints—no two people have the same dental pattern, even identical twins!

A silly fact I learned is that snails have 25000 teeth!
Anything else you would like to add about you?
I am a mother of five. My husband and I like to take the kiddos on road trips during the summer. I enjoy crafting, strange novelty items, any type of art and trying new recipes.

It signifies the highest form of concern and attention to detail. As well, “I care” expresses empathy and understanding no matter what the situation.
What’s your favorite way to unwind after work?
My 2 children keep my husband and I extremely busy 5 days a week. After work we are usually attending some sort of sports practice or game and truly enjoy every moment of it. When the sports season winds down I enjoying cooking and a reading good book.
What’s one fun fact about you that might surprise patients?
I have taken on various roles in the dental field from dental assisting, practice manager and remote dental billing.

A simple one! – You only get one set of permanent teeth, take care of them! I tell my kids this all the time!
Anything else you would like to add about you?
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family husband Dan, son Danny and daughter Brooke. We love Lake Winnipesaukee in NH where we have a cottage and visit often. I love good food and going out to eat. Also love going on a nice nature walk and attending sporting events. We are a huge baseball family. Go Red Sox!
